Wow, I never knew you did that!

One of the real privileges of what I do is getting to hear some fantastic stories from the charities and churches with whom I work.

Some really are amazing, but too often they don’t get heard.

Maybe some of us have concerns around confidentiality; maybe many of us just feel too busy to get around to it, or perhaps we secretly feel that ‘no-one would be interested’.

However can I encourage you to give it a go?  For many of you, your stories of your work and the difference it is making are your best advert.  Whether you are trying to persuade a funder to support you, convince a reluctant Council to work with you or recruit new volunteers to join you; it is the tales you tell that will often help you to stand out and give you the wow factor in any discussions.

So go on, don’t be shy, find a way of telling someone one of your stories today.  If you need help, contact me and tell it to me first – I can’t wait!
