If you are involved in a small charity, it can be all too easy to feel no-one is listening or interested.
After all, big charities seem to get all the attention (and cash!) and it can be a struggle to get your message, or even your existence noticed.
However, the recent high profile ‘collapse’ of Kids Company and media criticism of some of the fundraising techniques employed by household name charities should remind us that small can still be beautiful, despite everything we have said above (pause for az moment to enjoy the diamond in the picture….).
Small charities are often more focused, can usually adapt quickly to new situations and are generally more closely connected with thier supporters and those they serve. With the money they receive (however hard that money is to come by) they can deliver excellent value through the services they provide.
So, if you are involved in a small charity, be encouraged. And, if you need a bit of help to get noticed or funded, contact me
